Spectators
All spectators are welcome to attend MDJGT events. Rules that would be necessary for spectators to follow while watching their favorite junior golfer(s) are:
- Spectators will not be allowed to give advice to players
- Spectators must stay at least 30 yards away from the players
- Spectators must stay off of greens and tees.
- Spectator carts can be rented during our events (depending on availability from each club). We want as many people (Grandparents, etc.) as possible to come out and watch their favorite junior players.
Care of the Golf Course
It is critical to the MDJGT that we take good care of the golf courses that host our events. Please repair ball marks, replace divots, rake bunkers and put trash in the appropriate containers during golf rounds. Your cooperation will go a long way when we try to get the facility to host future events.
Dress Code
The Musselman-Dunne Junior Golf Tour takes great pride in its junior golfers and strives to make the tour the best in the state. You play a big part by the way you conduct yourselves while competing in an event. In order to promote a positive message across Kentucky, the following dress code will be enforced.
- All boys must wear a shirt with a collar and sleeves (t-shirts and tank tops are not acceptable). Mock turtleneck shirts are permissible.
- All girls shirts must be golf type shirts (t-shirt and tank tops are not acceptable). Mock turtleneck shirts are permissible.
- All shorts must be golf type and bermuda length. Tennis shorts, gym shorts and short shorts are not acceptable.
- Shirts must be tucked in.
- Blue jeans are not acceptable.
- Golf shoes or tennis shoes must be worn during tournament play.
- Golf hats/visors, etc., must be worn properly at all times.
Conduct
Conduct that is detrimental to the MDJGT will not be tolerated and includes the following:
- No drinking of alcohol, smoking and/or chewing of tobacco products or usage of drugs.
- Use of excessive gambling.
- No abusive language, profanity, temper tantrums and/or club throwing.
- Abuse to the facility will not be tolerated.
- Not turning in a scorecard or walking off of the course during the tournament.
Any breach of the above conduct will result in an automatic disqualification from the event where the incident occurred. Repeat offenses will result in dismissal from the tour. Please use common sense at each of the facilities. Remember that they are giving up their course for you to compete on, so please show them the respect and professionalism they deserve.
